I'm logged in, then when I go back to the index, I'm no longer logged in. Yesterday, every time I tried to start a new thread I'd be logged in, write my thread, and when I hit "submit" the board would say I needed to log in.

Help!

Guin, seeing as nobody else has reported the problem, I think it may be your end.

Have you changes settings for cookies on your computer, or reinstalled your browser of late?

How's that work then?

I am guessing that your server settings are severing your connection every so often. X amount of time between accesses to this site or others. Writing a post does not keep a connection.

I have found this site will log you off when your connection is lost. I have made it a habit to copy any post I am composing before hitting submit as I have had posts lost when my connection terminated unknown to me.

Hopefully R-B or Daisy will be able to clarify.

Does sound like its either your ISP or your cookie settings Guin - we've changed nothing recently.

I've been having a bunch of quirky problems recently with Chrome although nothing like what you're describing. If you are using Chrome switch over to Firefox and see what happens. I have a much better connection with their browser.

My end is just fine thank you, the swede was commenting on how nicely rounded it is just the other night

As for my Internet connection, the issue was at work, and late last night my IT director reported an issue and reset our connection. I'll check it once I get in.
