Isn't it about Time for a Poll?

It's been a long time since we've been able to vote on anything so I thought we could use a poll to vote on something.

I voted for Yes, we shouldn't because it was first on the list and therefore easiest. We should have more polls like this.

Why don't I get a specialized option?

His real name is Jack...

You guessed it.
Jack the Beanstalker.
But it's not that I don't like Crackpot. I only had 10 choices and he was number 11...

Looks like rube got two specialized options....
(Though I suppose the last one could apply to at least one other person...

)

I don't think our resident polecat should be abusing our polling privileges.

I think that could be applied to three posters (here) the other two are already mentioned so I used the process of elimination. the only difference being the other to have a much much better track record for being right.

Since it's the day after my birthday I'll admit to having been mistaken once.

I think what Joe is really looking for is a poll dance.

I don’t know why Scooter hates me, but I am not worrying about it. You can’t control the actions of others; you can only control your own actions. It is illogical to worry about things you can’t do anything about. All I know I am not going to participate in the hate game.

No Joe - not another poll. Hey lib. He loves you because he's not ignoring you.

Lib, while I admit it's unlikely that Scooter is going to suggest that the two of you go out for dinner and dancing any time soon, I seriously doubt that he actually "hates" you...Which brings up a pet peeve of mine...
"Hate" I believe is one of those words, ("bully" and "racist" are two others that come immediately to mind) where it seems to have become fashionable in some quarters to apply the word to all sorts of situations where a reasonable understanding of the term would indicate it wouldn't apply.
I think it's unfortunate when this happens, because words like these, when properly applied describe real and serious problems, and so when they are thrown around indiscriminately and applied inappropriately the result is a trivializing of the serious aspect, and a cheapening the value and meaning of the terms.
(Please note I am
not referring to Joe's poll in this criticism; the poll was obviously designed to be humorous, and tongue-in-cheek; not to actually accuse someone of really hating someone else.)

Funny really... I've heard complaints that polls like these end up as popularity contests. This one, however, was a popularity contest before a vote was cast!

I don't vote in polls (ok I did once or twice, but not in this one).

You're just jealous because there isn't a specialized Sean option...
