An almost perfect sports day!

Post by MajGenl.Meade »

England 38-21 New Zealand

Aus 163/10 | RSA 230/2 It looked bleak on day one but now.... uphill battle for the exported criminals!

Fulham 0 - 3 Tottenham (9 points out of the last 9; first clean sheet of the season)
West Ham 3 - 1 Chelsea (Torres - what a girl's blouse he is!)
Man City 1 - 1 Everton (Everton should have won; spoiled the day a bit)

And the most wonderful thing in the history of wonderful things:

ARSEnil F**K ALL - Swansea 2 (count 'em TWO and ARSE nil)

Swansea move above ARSEnil and I don't give a hoot for the Taffs but what a job they did today!!!

Now if only Reading could beat Man Utd it would be THE perfect sports day!

The cricket was painful. Ponting 4, Clarke 5, the bloody tail ender Wade scored more than the rest of the team combined, leaving out the other tail ender Hastings. Mind you Hastings coming in at number 9 scored more than the four opening bats!

OFFS!!!
WALES (6) 12
Pens: Halfpenny 4

AUSTRALIA (9) 14
Try: BealePens: Beale 3

Wales slipped to an agonising seventh straight Test defeat and their eighth in a row against Australia as the Wallabies stole victory in a dramatic finale in Cardiff.

The Six Nations champions trailed 9-6 at half-time, with Kurtley Beale kicking three penalties to Leigh Halfpenny's two.

The Wales full-back landed two more to nudge the hosts 12-9 ahead on the hour.

But with less than 30 seconds left, Beale scored in the right corner.
ENGLAND (12) 38
Try: Barritt, Ashton, TuilagiCons: FarrellPens: Farrell 4, Burns 2 Drop-goal: Farrell

NEW ZEALAND (0) 21
Tries: Savea 2, ReadCons: Carter 2, Cruden

England pulled off one of the great victories in their history as they destroyed world champions New Zealand at a rejoicing Twickenham.

The All Blacks had been unbeaten in 20 matches but were completely outplayed as second-half tries from Brad Barritt, Chris Ashton and Manu Tuilagi snuffed out a brief comeback.

But there was no denying a hugely impressive England, who secured their first win over the All Blacks in nine years - only their seventh in history

Can't be a good sports day, the NHL is locked out. All other sports are irrelevant.

Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

Any day the NHL is locked out is a good sports day. Goons on ice just brings down the average.

Well Reading didn't quite make it - lost 3-4 to Manjammy United. But on the huge relief side, Bloem Celtics beat Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 last night to take the Telkom Cup final!
