Jim- - - - - did you drive down Mission St. just for sh-ts and giggles last nite after the 49'ers lost? Just to spice things up, attach Ravens flags to your ride?
Surprisingly enough, no, I didn't...
If I ever feel the need to commit suicide, I believe I'll opt for something a little less messy....
While there are certainly a plethora of really bad wings out there, a well made buffalo wing, that is truly hot, is a thing of beauty - and very delicious. Start with the Anchor Bar or Duffys in Buffalo, then try some other places in western New York. From there you will learn what's good and what isn't.
Btw, the leg is the last appetizing chicken part, as far as I am concerned.

Sour grapes? If they were truly the best team, they would have proved it on the field.

I think Dales is saying the 49ers lost the game more than the Ravens won it. I described it differently. The 49ers were the team with the most talent, clearly. But the experienced Ravens played smarter, made far fewer mistakes, seemed to dominate for much of the game, and deserved to win. Yet, the 49ers had several chances in the last two minutes from 5 yards out to win it (three lousy play calls and good defense by the Ravens ended that). Heck, they would have had even more chances from mid-field if they hadn't blown two of their timeouts (more mistakes). But the mistake difference is, again, the advantage the experienced team should have over a young team.
The 49ers had more than enough chances to prove they were the best team. First and goal from the 7, and stopped, pretty much demonstrated who was the best - and it wasn't San Fran.
