I'm thinking hunting, and the horn, and maybe that unidentified lake is Loch Ness? But, as I said, it's just a wild guess.

I saw an interesting guess that the answer is Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge
It was based on the first names George (Stubbs) Alexander (Pope) Louis (Armstrong) and the lake being near Cambridge..... but Cambridge where?

That makes a lot of sense, and I really ought to officially withdraw my WAG, but it is wild, so that's not so easy.
