Congrats Gen'l...

I believe that's the first time an Ohio team has won any sort of national championship since The Reds won the World Series back when Bush 41 was President... 8-)

They looked good on the field, but it will be interesting to see how they deal with the quarterback issue next season, Jones (who was key in the last 3 games, getting them to No. 4 and ultimately national champions), Barrett (who led them for the bulk of this season before his injury), and Miller (who had a injury early this year but was their excellent quarterback of seasons before). I wouldn't want to have to make the decision.

Face it, each of these guys is there to try and impress the NFL scouts and het a job in a couple of years; they want the playing time for that. In a 2 QB system (which is usually what is used), one will be the starter, one will be a backup, and the other will be odd man out (except maybe for an occasion al wildcat play); I don't really see any of these guys willingly settling for that.

It's a nice kind of problem to have though! A lot of people think that with Harbaugh at Michigan the great rivalry will revive. I hope that none of the 3 TOSU (oh that doesn't look good!) QBs decide to cross over to the dark side!

Another highlight this past weekend was seeing Kent State's former QB Julian Edelman throw that TD pass to New England's Danny Amendola on a trick play. That's a heck of big league career stat: 1 for 1 and a TD!

Now all we have to do is persuade the Browns to draft a QB (if they must) with better skills and smarts than a cherry pit. Jones looks kinda good to me - though I suspect his mobility might not shine as well in the NFL. They'll probably turn him into an RB
