little bastards....

Post by wesw »

...stole my bike.

teenagers were fighting and rampaging thru peoples yards last night, late. they woke my daughter up. so I went out, all the neighbors came out, and they were just yelling and running then, cause one neighbor told them to get out of her yard and she was calling the cops.

now I just noticed that my bike was gone from my garage. little bastards. I walked to the police station and reported it too. the cops have found bikes for me before.

after I first posted, I took my dog out to where the bike was stolen from, she has a good nose, not like a bloodhound or anything but she likes to follow scent, and she k put her nose right on the scent, I told her to go get em , and gave her her head and she put her nose down and started tracking. she is half lab, half border collie and has a fair vocabulary that she understands. any way she put her nose down and tracked them to the woods a street behind my house and I was hoping that they had stashed it there, but she just tracked along the edge and headed across the railroad tracks into town, I let her follow for a couple of streets, but then it looked like they were ducking around a bit and I didn t want to keep going up into yards and stuff. and it was hot.

I was really impressed by my puppy girl.

all new lightbulbs outside now. about three years here and that was the first theft. and don t worry, I m not gonna shoot some stupid little bastard for stealing my bike.

the 600 dollar gary fisher marlin was at the back of the garage behind the mowers and crap, glad they missed that. I haven t been riding it because a pedal is screwed up a little. they got the old US made Huffy that I got for Holly tho. I think I saw it spray painted light blue today but I was toofar away to tell and by the time I got the jeep they were gone.

my shotgun was at home where it belongs. if they had rampaged thru my door it was ready. bikes they can have, but I ain t gonna make it easy. I would set my dog on em, but I don t want my puppy girl to get hurt. cocoa puff is a lover not a fighter. she is a good watch dog and protects my daughter and growls at strangers but she ain t no german shepherd.

I do need to get a little 22 pistol tho, while I still can. I ve never actually owned a pistol. but I can t run and I can t fight anymore so it may be time. I don t want any big thing, there are no bears around here, a 22 should be fine for personal protection, I don t want to kill anyone, if they have a bullet proof vest on I ll just have to die. my son has a little ruegar 22 that s hes had for a couple of years and that seems to be pretty good. he has run thousands of rounds thru it and says it is great still. I ll probably only shoot it once to test it and put it away.

hee hee hee , a piece.....

you dirty rat. yeah see ,yer gonna get it see... I m not bugsy pretty boy Dillinger!

I highly recommend motion sensor lighting . . . it's not terribly expensive anymore and it really throws petty thieves off their game.
