And a fine example of the sum of the parts not equaling the whole.

I wasn't making fun of any fat people, which was not the point.bigskygal wrote:Is it your point that no man would touch those women because they are morbidly obese?
Because, in fact, there are many men who would.
Sue's extremely inaccurate observation was about all men thinking the ideal shape belonged to any woman we could touch.
She didn't mention a barge-pole and I don't know any man who'd want to be within visual range, let alone touching distance, of those poor unfortunates. That was the point
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

You don't see how derogatory that characterization is????

Not really. I think it's unfortunate to look like that.
I think it's relatively unfortunate to look like me, for that matter. I'd rather not.

look, it is unfortunate, they are unhealthily obese.
big people can be healthier than skinny ones, some men and women need the weight. it makes them strong , keeps them warm and, tides them over in hard times an d old age.
they are not that, they have stored enough carbs to choke a combine.
it s not their fault. their body types evolved in a feast and famine lifestyle. their type of fuel storage system is too hyper for today s relatively easy life, and high carb processed crap.
it is truly unfortunate on many levels. truth , not derision, bigsky. truth is ok. truth is necessary...
Truth..., is a great album....

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

Rode my motorcycle yesterday. Don't see much snowmobiling in the foreseeable future, so the mc is the next best thing.

Not to be tooooo intellectual about the subject, but there is no "perfect" body, even from a subjective beauty standpoint.
There can be a perfect thin body and a perfect plump body and a perfect athletic body (and others), and none is more gooder than any other.
But the diagram/amalgam is fatally flawed and incomplete in that it does not include a spot for the perfect buttocks. Like describing the perfect baseball player and ignoring batting average.

Being a butt man I concurr.it does not include a spot for the perfect buttocks.
Wouldn't matter anyway as my wife has THE perfect butt.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?
