Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I Fear for Our Future

Post by RayThom »

BB, that's certainly a hawkish visual. At least "snapchat boy" isn't flagpole sitting or swallowing goldfish.

Don't fear for our children -- they'll find their way. Just dive a little deeper into the daily news media -- that should allay your fear. And if I'm wrong, don't worry. You'll probably not be here to see it all unfold.

My best advice... know those things you can't change, change the things you can and, best of all, know the difference.

What about all those painted scenes with the face holes cut out?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Isn't that a Nazi on the 'cycle?
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Not mine .... but some people's grand-dads had to have been.

I'm watching PBS Henry Louis Gates on the anniversary of MLK Jr's assassination. Mob scenes of young white men protesting King are scary; especially because many of these guys are still around and presumably mid-seventies now. And voting.

Well BB.... I'm just not so sure that an innocent youngster using a cell phone app to amuse himself and others is several steps below a Jew-killing, homo-murdering, gypsy-terminating, civilian-destroying er... Nazi.

But ... you know... maybe Trump created that meme?

And I'm not afraid for our future; people rise to the occasion, even the young as recent events have shown. Just like the "greatest generation" did, they will play with the hand that's dealt to them, and eventually make us all proud (or at least surprise us). From Socrates on, the elders have criticized the young, but civilization still goes on (and has even improved quite a bit over the centuries); remember, the guy not good enough to marry your daughter, will one day be the dad of the greatest kid in the universe. And so it goes...
