I looked into that. But the number of bald-headed kids on chemo who would be depressed by a wig with some temporal grey innit was greater than those who would be filled with joy about it. As far as I could tell anyway.
I guess Locks of Love does limit recipients to youths, and even charges them. They've also been called out for selling excess donated hair to commercial wigmakers! Boo!
A partnership between ACS & Pantene. The wigs are donated to cancer patients of all ages who can't afford them. Real human hair wigs are very pricey - and look the best, of course.
The upside is you'll start fresh with brand new, totally healthy tresses.
