Those cute little duck boots had a brief surge of popularity here in SC in the 1970s esp in wet winters.

Other than a bunch of goodies I bought to launch my law practice - computer hardware & office 'decor' - I didn't get myself anything for Christmas this year.
I got the usual bags of home made goodies from coworkers, which was nice, but I got very sick of sweets after only a few days.
