For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Flip-flops. As in the Jimmy Buffett song "Margaritaville":Gob wrote:

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

Glad you quoted from Buffet, never could quite understand what He was saying in that verse .
On the subject of Pasties( it was lunch for Cornish miners ) my writer friend cooked a bunch a brought them to a Church meeting,I thought they were very good ,seems He used the Cornish recipe .

Re: Pickled Garlic?
I have only eaten a 'pahstee' in Northern Michigan. I was an import to the North Country, following my wife-to-be. I have a basic bias that real miners all come from Wales. The Yoopers (denizens of Michigan's upper peninsula, 1/3 of its territory and 3 percent of its population) were miners and lumbermen. A good portion of them are from Finland. The miners I naturally assumed were from Wales. The pasty is commonly available at food sellers in the UP. I ate them at the urging of my wife, and then because I liked them.
I apologize to Cornishmen everywhere, and to all things from Cornwall. The miners of the UP are not from Wales. People like me, who claim some connection to Wales tend to be short. The pasty of the UP came from Cornwall. Please, be nice to me. Cornish men tend to be very big. For good reason, the Welsh stayed on their own side of the mountains of Britain.
snailgate.

The Welsh stay on their own side of the Bristol Channel (to avoid Cornwall). But if it had been the Bristol Bog, they'd have been right in it, swimming south

Yep, it's the accordion, it grabs you and holds you for every single note.
'Ah one-a and-a two-ahh' -- hit it, Myron.
