From the thread title I thought this was another Presidential debate.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Basketball does nothing for me anymore.

Luckily, MLB spring training is just a few weeks away. :ok

Madonna needs to hang up her pom-pons. She looked drugged, she stumbled around, and her skin is stretched waaaayyyy to tight. The show would have been far more fun if she played her old music, instead of trying to be relevant and hip -- and including losers like Ceelo Whatshisface and those two chicks.

On the other hand, Kelly Clarkson did a great job with the national anthem, and I love her voice, but she needed to be a little hipper. Her dress was so dowdy, she looked like the 50-something.

The less said about the game itself the better. Painful covers it well.

Painful indeed, Guinevere.

We missed Madonna (on purpose), and opted instead for the Kitty Half-time show of the Puppy Bowl.

I figgered NY would win by 3 in overtime.

Guess I was wrong...
Sometimes it seems as though one has to cross the line just to figger out where it is

Well I watched the game even though I really don't care about football and didn't have a dog in the fight (get it? I'm from Iggles/Michael Vick country). I thought it was well-played by both sides, even if not the most spectacular of games. It really was anyone's game until literally the last minute.

I thought Madonna was showing her age (she's my age), but fer crissakes, I couldn't go out and do that show without an oxygen tank and a squad of physical therapists on stand-by.

Oh, and Jim -- it's not Hackensack (Hackensack is not even in the same county); it's East Rutherford, which was (and still is) literally a swamp on the edge of Secaucus. Hackensack is a few exits farther north.
GAH!
