So out of interest Andrew, what DID you think of her postings there?
I have not read them, so I have no opinion about them. But in this thread, she posted entirely benign clips about Mexico.

If she has dragged your family into threads, to an extent greater than that to which you and Gob have already involved them, then she has crossed a line which, in my opinion, no one should cross.

Of course, I don't recall fountains of outrage when @meric@n wom@n dragged members of my family -- people who had never posted here and had nothing to do with any of the ongoing disputes in which I was a participant -- into various threads.

Indeed, I've met your wife Andrew D, and she was nothing but gracious, engaging and entertaining. It's more than unkind for those who don't know her to fling 'vile untruths'.

Andrew, if you haven't seen that, then you haven't reviewed any of the threads that my grievance was based around.

This thread started innocently, but it was started when Lo was meant to be resolving issues and grievances in the mediation thread. Something that she maintains she was unable to do at the time.

If you find all of this too difficult to follow, then please keep out of it. It needs no more people involved as it is, and it should be left to die the death it was meant too.

Thank you.

I am beginning to smell a rat.

loCA knows that if she stirs too much shit, she will get banned permanently. So she enlists Andrew, who doesn't need much convincing, to stir the pot for her.

Of course, Andrew can prove me completely wrong in this by being satisfied with the several explanations that have been provided to him.

Or he can continue on this course, and prove me absolutely right.

Your grievance, Hen strikes me as well founded. It was not an accident that I demanded an answer from loCAtek. And I never got one.

But how does that justify anyone's shitting on her in this thread -- a thread which, as you say, she "started innocently"?

No one has "enlist[ed]" me for anything, Scooter.

I realize that you have trouble dealing with independent minds. But my thoughts are my own.

You should try it; you may well find it refreshing.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions.

The reasons why people made the comments they did in this thread has been explained to you. You can accept that explanation, or not. But please don't continue playing patsy for loCA's agenda by asking the question over and over and over again as if it has not already been answered by at least three posters.

And sure, you just happen to show up after a prolonged absence, barely a day after loCA resumed her old tricks and realized that she wouldn't be able to step much further without getting banned permanently, and your first (and only) contribution after months of absence is to jump right into the middle of something that occurred when you weren't here to see it.

No, what is going on here is not transparent at all, no sir.

Let her continue to fuck you in the ass if you wish. You should be careful about what you might catch, though.

You are delusional, Scooter.

During loCAtek's absence, I posted in the "Congratulations Your Majesty" thread. And I posted in the "Jim, do not open this thread if you value your sanity" thread. And I posted in the "After 244 Years, Encylopaedia Stops the Pres" thread. And I posted in the "How not to organize a boycott" thread. And I posted in the "Obama says, 'You MUST become gay!'" thread.

Five threads. I posted in (at least) five threads during what you claim was a "prolonged absence". Do facts mean anything to you? Anything at all?

That's more your thing than mine. You use it as a term of opprobrium. Why? Are you ashamed of it?
You should be careful about what you might catch, though.
You're pretty much the last person to caution me about what I might catch. I do have various ailments, but unlike you, I'm not likely to kill anyone with them.

Andrew has no ability to be unbiased in regards to loCAtek. She was a guest at his house not long ago so he has a personal relationship with her. At least more personal than most of us.

Perfectly understandable.

I wouldn't expect him to respond any differently than he has.

He's being a somewhat perfectly gracious gentleman.

Gracious is as gracious does ...but, not by my request. In fact, Andrew D isn't shy about telling me what he really thinks about me to my face, or at least to my ear. That's just the way he is to everyone; be they his guests or not ... just the way he rolls. For that matter, ( and if I may presume Andrew?) he would welcome anybody to be his guests, he's that gracious.

I happen to know, it doesn't grant any special status or favor. I was as pleasantly surprised by his contribution to my thread as you were.

We really don't gossip about Plan B much, except to ponder as to who should be on the next guest list, about the time the wisteria is blooming in his garden best ...but you knew that, Joe and you can confirm it with Dales, of course.

Not his wife's garden, but it certainly could be;

Pardon me for hijacking this thread, but I just noticed the above post by Scooter; is this Board now one that can ban posters, temporarily or permanently? And if so, under what circumstances?

I've been away for a while, so I just want to understand the basic premises under which we are posting.
