More and more lonely old men
THE number of older men living alone in England is likely to increase by 65% in the next 15 years, sparking concerns for a new generation of lonely pensioners. According to a new report, the number of men aged 65 or more living by themselves is projected to rise from 911 000 to 1.5 million by 2030, as increasing numbers of men outlive their partners and wives. © The Daily Telegraph
