The 2011 Power Tour route is out!

Saturday June 4, Cocoa Beach, FL Port Canaveral

Sunday June 5, Valdosta, GA South Georgia Motorsports Park (hot)

Monday June 6, Montgomery, AL Montgomery Motorsports Park (hot)

Tuesday June 7, Nashville, TN LP Field (where the Titans play)

Wednesday June 8, Indianapolis, IN Indianapolis Motor Speedway (already drooling over their museum...)

Thursday June 9, Muskegon, MI Downtown Muskegon (uh-oh...)

Friday June 10, Detroit, MI Metro Beach Metropark

Saturday June 11, Detroit, MI Long Haulers Ceremony, Location TBD (It will be tough to top the deck of the Alabama!)

Pondering two ideas this time...the "truck tour", with my F-350, Liz's Bummer, & her father's Land Cruiser, or Liz and I taking our bus/motorhome & not paying for hotel rooms.

Take the motorhome.

Sounds like a better solution to me. You can relax and kick back and let your wife drive the tour.

It has some appeal...can just hit the venues, no worrying about finding bathrooms, places to eat, hotels. I think we'll even be able to overnight at all the Tour venues except Cocoa Beach & Muskegon.

We'll share driving, especially the run to Cocoa Beach: I'm not sure I can get the Friday off work, so we may have to drive down Friday night & Saturday. Not the first time...we had to do the same for the same reason in 2007 for the kickoff in Cleveland.

Can you take pictures this time?

Probably not...I do not own a camera.

There are only a couple hundred on Hot Rod's site, though. :p
