Get us coming and going

Now that the winter heating season is over (or, should be -- it snowed in western New York last night and supposed to be in the 30s here tonight), gas prices have mysteriously jumped upward. $2.15 two weeks ago, $2.35 last week, $2.45 today.
freaking oil companies . . .

I always love the oil industry--in the winter they blame the increases them diverting production fuel oil (because of the increased demand) and to oxygenate gas/add alcohol. In the summer, they blame it on the demand for gas rising. but somehow it always goes up.

Well to be fair, it did go down quite a bit there for a short (and sweet) while.

To be really fair, it's still down considerably over last year; but it's these incremental price increases that will bring it back up over time.
