See, this right here is why this won't work on American TV. But enjoy . . . and we all know you have the time for it! 8-)

LJ now pay attention. We've been through this before.

The umpire calls "over" after the bowler has bowled six legal balls

First Test, day one, Cardiff

England 343-7:

Root 134, Ballance 61, Stokes 52
Australia yet to bat

Joe Root led an England fightback with a glittering century against Australia on the opening day of the 2015 Ashes series.
Coming to the crease with his team in trouble on 43-3, the Yorkshire batsman attacked from the off on his way to 134 from 166 balls in Cardiff.
Gary Ballance added a battling 61 and Ben Stokes a rapid 52 as England reached 343-7 by the close.
While Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood shared six wickets, Mitchell Johnson toiled on an unresponsive pitch after England won the toss and chose to bat.

First Test, day two, Cardiff

England 430: Root 134, Moeen 77, Ballance 61, Starc 5-114
Australia 264-5: Rogers 95, Clarke 38

Australia trail by 166 runs

Moeen Ali scored 77 and took two important wickets as England gained the upper hand in the first Ashes Test against Australia.
The hosts added 87 runs to their overnight total in 14.1 overs to post 430 all out in a sun-kissed Cardiff and were then rewarded for a disciplined bowling display as Australia slipped to 264-5.
Moeen removed Steve Smith and Michael Clarke to justify his selection ahead of Adil Rashid as England's spinner.
Mark Wood took his first Ashes wicket - dismissing Chris Rogers for 95 - and Ben Stokes struck late in the day to snaffle Ashes debutant Adam Voges and put England on top.

The hosts' dominant display sealed a remarkable recovery from 43-3 on Wednesday morning as they set about avenging a 5-0 Ashes whitewash down under.
Australia, four places above England in the Test rankings, are seeking a first Ashes win in England since 2001.

Whooooo fucking whoooooooo!!!
First Test, day four, Swalec Stadium, Cardiff
England 430 & 289
Australia 308 & 242: Johnson 77, Warner 52, Broad 3-39, Moeen 3-59

England win by 169 runs; lead series 1-0

England romped to a crushing 169-run victory over Australia in the first Ashes Test to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

Chasing an unlikely 412 to win, Australia lost four wickets for nine runs in 35 balls either side of lunch and were bowled out for 242 one hour after tea in Cardiff.

Stuart Broad was England's inspiration, taking the wickets of three of Australia's top four batsmen.

And, following a brief lower order rally, Joe Root showed his golden touch to take two of the last three wickets, including Mitchell Johnson for a spirited 77.

The win is a huge fillip for England, who lost the last Ashes series 5-0 down under and have only won one of their last five Test series.

Having been reduced to 43-3 on the first morning, they rebounded to produce four days of high-class, aggressive cricket in their first match under Australian coach Trevor Bayliss.

Australia, strong favourites to retain the Ashes before the series, now have only five days to recover and reassess their tactics before the second Test starts at Lord's on Thursday.
