Masseuse Question

Post by Crackpot »

I have a question regarding getting a massage and the gender of the masseuse.

Am I alone in my hang up about getting a massage from another man?

Think of him as a massage therapist, maybe that will help.

Interesting question C-P!

I've only had them off women, and my current massage of choice is at this place; foot & thai therapeutic massage

The masseuse there are all small Thai women, who can exert massive amounts of pain despite their size.

And no, they don't do "extras".

I've had professional massage from both men and women and never been uncomfortable. It's all about the massage, and frankly, about me. Not the therapist. Just take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy.

I would think this more a "guy" issue Guin. My wife has had M/F masseuses and not had an issue either. She thinks I'm silly for having the hang up.

I agree with her. There is nothing sexual about a massage, its about the therapy. Do you have a male physician? Do get uncomfortable if he examines you?

I cannot say it's comfortable when my male physician gives me a prostate exam.

And normally I quit like that sort of thing. ;)

It's not about sex it's about letting your guard down/relaxing.

yes

No but I'm not exactly relaxed either. (especially when he goes a-probin')

Use the force, Luke. Focus on the massage, not who is giving it, and just enjoy.

If anything I believe I'd be more uncomfortable having a woman as a masseuse.

When I was in the Navy all the massage parlors I knew about.

Well massage took on a whole different meaning...

Because "massage parlour" is a euphemism for what actually went on in those establishments.

Maybe you should just find a nice female masseuse?

You only need to be concerned with the gender of the masseuse when expecting a happy ending...

:o
Personally, I don’t believe in bros before hoes, or hoes before bros. There needs to be a balance. A homie-hoe-stasis, if you will.

How about calling those who give professional therapeutic massages what most are actually called these days -- massage therapists. Maybe it would even help some of the hangups!

I loves me a good massage. Once I went for one of those therapeutic deep massages. It hurt and the guy giving it was a perve. He kept referring to my boobs as "your blessings". I stick to Swedish massage now but did not let that experience color caring whether the therapist was male or female.
