When we were over in NZ, we discovered Monteith's, possibly now my favourite brewery on the planet..

But apples or pears?

At present we're very fond of the pear, but will that love wear off?

Clever ad campaign. But cider and mead are only for rare consumption. I don't think either could make it into the regular diet.

I love a good cider, but I've found I prefer apple, and very straightforward. I'll take a Woodchuck Amber, from my lovely Green Mountains, please. Nothing else compears. . .

I had a nasty experience with cider at my nephew's christening when I was 16. Just the smell turns my stomach now...

Sean hard cider made well can be rather tasty. Applejack on the other hand can put you on your ass quickly.
