There is another competition, In Hong Kong this year. It is called the International Mathematics Olympiad. It is a competition for high school students around the world in mathematics. USA won the team competition. Actually USA also won last year and in 1994. The organization running the games in Rio is very possesive of who uses Olympic or Olympiad name for a completion. They have almost as many lawyers as Microsoft, gunning for unauthorized use. And they bless this math event in Hong Kong.

Congratulations are in order for the team, coached by Po-Sen Loh, and individual team members Ankan Bhattacharya, Michael Aural, Allen Liu, Junyao Ping, Ashwin Sah, and Yuan Yao.

I guess that clearly establishes the real strength of the American education system. USA Number One!!! Take that, all you furrinurs!

Anyhow their success has been integral to the US differential advantage. No limit can hold back their infinitesimal precision with the 2nd derivative accelerating their dash to victory.
