I'm 30 days totally nicotine free today; was only an occasional social smoker most of my life but stress the last few years had me puffing way too regularly and it's been hard giving them up but I'm proud I have and I feel liberated.
On to sugar next . . .

OK, you're probably over the physical addiction, now you have to stay on top of the psychological aspects of kicking the drug. You need to be conscious of the "hand to mouth, oral/sucking fixation" component to quitting. Keep yourself busy and if your hands go idle stretch your arms straight out and shake them "jazz hand" style every once in a while. Laugh if you want... but it works.
Like all addictions kicking them is a process not just a good idea. 90/120 days out should be a good indicator as to whether you're clean and in the clear. Oh, and avoid stress -- it's the killer of all good intentions. Good luck.

Yep ,keep at it .Takes awhile to get over the craving,I liked orange juice (was able to drink it then )Funny thing was when I was quitting Nicotine I had to keep a can of smokeless tobacco in reach at all times ,because if it wasnt there , would have went to the store and bought some and started again( a wad of smokeless tobacco contains about 20 times the nicotine of a cigarette) so good luck ,you can certainly do it .
