The linked article was reported by NPR via my morning email. I recall a movie, IMDB points to "The Ugly Truth with Katherine Heigl, wearing a similar device by mistake. I remember thinking "yeah, right", but anything is possible in the movies.

Anyway, this apparently exists. There are an estimated 300,000 of this model out there.

The article says, in part, "The unhappy users allege in their lawsuit that they never agreed to the collection of this data." So what are the HAPPY users doing about having their data collected?

There is a sex toy shop adjacent to a strip club/bar/eatery in the southernmost bit of the county where I was County Attorney; both are just off I-90 and very popular with interstate truckers.
