I know Nordstrom's is have their share of retail problems lately but I'm not buying this. They look like cowboy denims that have been dragged through a load of bull shit. You can almost smell the stench. I am going to hold this story as a hoax until I see more extensive media coverage on this item.

Just another example of how the youth of today have it way too easy. They can sit at their computer and order muddy jeans and have them delivered. When I was a kid I had to go to the store to buy jeans and then go outside to get mud on them.

The dog puke jeans sound like a better idea. It's harder to get access to dog vomit than it is to find mud.

I blame the pseudo/wanna-be hippies of the 60's-70's.
Used to be you could not buy "pre-washed, stone-washed, acid-washed" jeans and it took many wearings and washings of your jeans to get that "lived in" look.
And we were all proud when our jeans finally got that look.
Then all of a sudden, you could buy them with half their life washed out of them.
Now you are hard pressed to find "never washed" (aka brand new) jeans.
Used to take a lot to rip a pair of levi jeans.
Now they pay extra for knee holes and rips and tears.

I think this is just the opening wedge for a new trend. next up "Dairyman's Jeans" with uh fake cowshit stains, then "Gardener's Jeans" with fake grass stains, "Grease Monkey" jeans with fake oil and grease stains, and "Sheep Herder's Jeans" with just the knees heavily stained (sold as "Welshman's Jeans" in the UK.

I have an old Cape and Island Steel hat that is beaten and melted and oh so cool.....

and I have leftover work jeans with paint and burns and stains........

and sweatshirts with hundreds of tiny burn holes from welding and burning spatter.....

I m keeping the hat (it s my lucky fishing hat) , but the jeans and sweatshirts (and even a few old tees) can be yours for the low low price of 20 bucks each!!!!

With my luck, I'd shell out the $425, wear the jeans once, forget about their history, and toss them in the hamper. Next thing I'd know, Mrs Mc would have washed 'em.

It probably is, since whoever buys it sureinhell ain't gonna wear it.  Instead, it will likely sit on a plinth with an acrylic dust cover over it, like a museum display.
