Visited the dispensary in Berkeley, MJ is roughly half price from before.

OTOH

Cigarettes (newly passed $2/ pack CA tax) are more expensive than ever.

There's a moral to this story but I'll be dammed if I know what it is.

[Long Run]

The lesson is that the law always rules. In the first instance we have the law of supply and demand. In the next instance we have the law of heads-I-win, tails-you-lose majority rule.
