But when they start selling toasted bugs with lime salt and chili as ballpark snacks, then it's time to draw the line!!



What's next?  Chocolate-covered cockroaches??   "They don't melt in your hand, they crawl in your mouth!"

One thing I will note, however — the guy says 'their popularity exceeded my expectations'.  Well, at $4 for one of those little plastic cups, they're probably the cheapest thing at the concession stand.  I wonder how that might have played into the popularity factor.

I've heard that there's even a company that takes the residue scrapings from the bottom of used beer vats, dumps it into little jars, and people actually buy it and eat it...

One of my favourite stories of 2011 was when a Marmite lorry (truck) came unglued on the M1 around Sheffield.

Oh, if I must....

My grandma used to make toast soldiers for me for yolk dipping, but sans Marmite.

My mother didn't spread it with Marmite or cut it up, but I would rip pieces of toast off the slice and dip it in the yolk myself.

Eight people were shot and killed Sunday night in a North Texas home according to news reports.

Plano police responded to a shooting at a residence near West Spring Creek Parkway Sunday evening where they found a gunman still inside, the local FOX News affiliate reported.
 
Officers reported they were forced to open fire on the man, killing him.

Police say they found eight people who had been fatally shot, inside the residence. All eight were adults, according to news reports. 

According to the Dallas Morning News, the fatal shooting occurred about 8 p.m. during a Dallas Cowboys watch party. 

Football is a stupid violent sport that attracts many stupid violent people - and some, I assume, are good people.

Seriously NFL players have a higher violent crime rate than men 20-30 overall, there are constantly stories about thugs and wife-beaters and murderers in the NFL, they're not exactly role models.

I'm going to guess the perp was a disgruntled NY Giants fan. Those guys are really sore losers.
