Wales' hopes of reaching the knockout stages of the World Cup were ended by a 14-try mauling by superb Fiji. The Pacific Islanders inflicted a record tournament defeat on Wales, scoring eight tries before half-time.
The margin of the loss surpassed the 50-6 defeat by Papua New Guinea last week, which was Wales' previous heaviest World Cup defeat

Wales have never been a good "touch rugby" side, we prefer the proper version.

Seriously? Tonga beats New Zealand Australia and Scotland handily and then just scrapes through against Lebanon? Lebanon? When did they start playing Rugby League? I know it's not proper rugby but still . . .

England beat Tonga yesterday 20 - 18 in the Rugby League World Cup. Then today England won 48 -14 against Samoa in Rugby Union.
England's cricketers are currently facing Australia in Melbourne. So by Monday it could be a 3 - nothing weekend against small unimportant Southern Pacific Islands.
I have sent the above message to my Australian brother and his sons. I'll let you know how it goes.

Even if you lose this cricket competition for the world's smallest trophy, you still have the championship in a related sport:
World Snail Racing Championships

2017 Champion!
The 2017 championships were held on 15th July 2017 and this year's winner is a snail called Larry owned by 41-year-old Tara Beasley from Castle Acre near Swaffham. Larry covered the 13 inch course in 2 mins 47 secs. Tara said “I'm going to spoil him now. He has done so well. I am quite overwhelmed to own the World Snail Racing Champion.” Last year's champion, Herbie 2, defended his title but did not get into the final.
The next Championships will be held on 21 July 2018
on the cricket field [Now that's what I call appropriate...] at Congham, Norfolk, UK

I don't know if it's that image (since the nude guy has no identifiable uniform), but I googled it and there is a NZ rugby team called the Nude Blacks that plays nude--not sure why. If interested you can google for more graphic images.
Is that it Gob?
