So what makes this pasty so special and wallet-munching? Is the steak made of gold, the crimp spun with the finest silk? I know this 'hand-food' only from the Michigan Upper Peninsula, where it is everywhere--easier to find than a big mac.
But I was more interested in the fish version mentioned above. Looking at the map, Cornwall is within smell of the sea almost any where.
So why the BEEF form as the official, only genuine pasty"

Well, that works out to about 15 bucks American and I've spent that much on an upscale gourmet burger, (and crab in a wine cream sauce ain't bad) so I'd probably be willing to give it a try...
I'd want some Tabasco sauce (or similar type hot sauce) to sprinkle on it to liven it up a bit of course...

Not true. Gob told us last month that Vegemite was Marmite for the weak.
