Isn't Porter a cross-dressing, gay man? Why would anyone be surprised by the odd costume he chose to wear?
Do I think it strange? Yes. But it doesn't impact me, or any aspect of my life. It's Hollywood pageantry for God's sake. Outrageous garb is what they do.
