I've been playing cards and chess occasionally online to pass some of my copious free time, but recently I came across this link for some classic 80s video games including my personal favorite, Galaga

I used to be a Galaga savant; I wasn't particularly good at a lot of the games, but for some reason I had mad skills for this one...

That was a favourite of mine as well; like I managed to do well at it even though I wasn't good at any others.

Not sure I could get the hang of moving with the keyboard instead of a joystick.

I've been playing it with the kids, and even though you'd think they'd be pretty jaded with all the games they've had available with much fancier graphics, they really enjoy it...

But you're right, it was better with a joy stick...
