Why are they out of . . .

We all know the obvious things people have gobbled up a the stores (toilet paper and rice being two herd-buying empty spots on the shelves). But why are the stores having a hard time keeping soda, especially the popular ones Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper, on the shelves? And higher quality peanut butter seems to have disappeared, but the major brands with their sugar and other crap added seem to still be in full supply. Assorted snack foods are also often out, such as Doritos and other chips. Supply chain issues, and maybe emphasis on certain products?

And yet, I have seen the standard Nacho Cheese all out, but Spicy and Cool Ranch seem to be well stocked!
