Wholesome and Ethically Produced
This mixed seed peanut butter by Whole Earth is full of fibre as well as protein. Made with sustainable palm oil and absolutely no added sugar, it’s not only an ethically sound spread but a healthy one too.
That's Hen's PNB of choice. I'm not a huge fan of PNB, but a bit with Marmite every so often is not bad. I don't by the ready mixed PNB and Marmite as I prefer my own ratio.

But if it has that other stuff (flax, sunflower, and pumpkin seeds as well as palm oil) in there, at what point does it stop being 'peanut' butter and merely 'peanut butter flavored' spread?

That's how we go from 'sliced cheese' to this —

It’s not allowed to say cheese as a matter of law, I believe. ‘Processed cheese food’ is the acceptable labeling.

Anyone like Almond, or cashew. butter? I'd live on them if they weren't so fucking expensive.

Can't recall ever having almond or cashew butter (cashew butter sounds delicious), but we use a lot of tahini in this house. Good tahini is better than peanut butter.

:ok tahini is ace!

Does Tahini have a strong sesame taste?

If you're lucky.

ETA: The flavor is stronger than regular sesame oil, but not quite as strong as toasted sesame oil, if that's any help.

One of my favorite uses is to toss banana slices with just enough tahini to coat them and then drizzle a little honey over top.

EATA: Now you've got me thinking about sesame candy, which is my favorite (although it's pretty close with Chick-O-Sticks). Gonna have to go out and get some "for Halloween."

Not sure if I ever had a Chik o Stick, candy, but I always thought they were kind of like Butterfingers (without the chocolate) or maybe Zagnuts; are they?

Yes, they're very much like Butterfingers without the chocolate, but with some toasted coconut mixed in.

The coconut sounds nice; I'll have to try one.

And since I'm mentioning coconuts, one of my favorite candies was the Bounty bar, coconut coated in dark chocolate. I haven't seen these in the US in years, but it is pretty common in Europe and South America.

Two differences: the dark chocolate is better (I know Hersheys does make a good dark chocolate, but they don't use it in Mounds), and second the coconut and chocolate in Mounds are sweeter than in Bounty. I'll eat mounds occasionally, but have a strong preference for Bounty. My guess is I am in the minority of US consumers, which is why Mounds is still sold in the US but Bounty isn't.

Also, my recollection is that a milk chocolate version of Bounty was available but I have never tried it and am unsure if it is still sold.

I prefer toasted coconut in a milk chocolate haystack. Love them!
