Guess you guys haven't watched the IPL for the last decade. The ladies are not on the pitch while the game is going on. They are on a little stage, often with fences to keep the crowd away (!). And (as I recall) are only called upon to "dance" when play is not on-going. After a wicket - bit of a "performance". End of an over - bit of a "show".

Almost 100% non-Indian ladies. The society frowns upon the idea of their own females gyrating in skimpy costumes. And they don't get paid much either.
