en (not)suite

The funny thing is, me and Hen discussed putting en-suite in our barn conversion, but decided against it, for similar reasons. When we stay at hotels we're happy to have n-suite as it saves embarrassment and is convenient. But not at home thank you...

Fair point, and not much of an advantage if at all when it is just a couple or a single person. However, add kids, or any other co-habitants, and the bathroom/bedroom combo has plenty of value. The set-up that has never made sense to me is the Jack and Jill, 2-door model.
