Wives never forgive their husbands for just following instructions. Mindreading is always demanded of husbands, or at least decoding. Some cultures recognize this by using different languages for males and females.

I've gotten the "What have you done?" reaction from Liz a few times. (From Mom too, actually.) Most recently...it was a typo. Liz wanted two cans of mandarin oranges. Not twenty.
