Australian poker players are rushing to pull their money out of the world's biggest poker sites following a major "black Friday" FBI sting that was facilitated by an Australian tech tycoon.

PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolute Poker are battling to convince non-US users that their money is safe after the .com websites of all three poker giants were siezed by the FBI and their founders charged over serious money-laundering allegations.

In the US, full-time online players fear online poker in the US is over - and along with it their lucrative income streams - as the FBI crackdown suggests a new willingness by authorities to block online gambling, which has been illegal in the US since 2006. And it all appears to have been caused by a single Aussie super-grass.
