SYDNEY is poised to get Australia's biggest brothel, with an entire floor of a three-storey complex devoted to suites each containing two king-sized beds, a lounge, pool table and spa.
A development application for a $12 million extension to Stiletto brothel on Parramatta Road, Camperdown - now owned by the big-time punter Eddie Hayson - has been lodged with City of Sydney council.
It proposes doubling the size of the brothel to 40 working rooms and 21 waiting rooms with underground parking, making it nearly double the size of its nearest rival.

While some rooms are more conventional, offering bed and spa bath, the top floor of the new wing includes seven suites with pool tables and two sets of beds for parties and group bookings.
''The new section is going to be for massage,'' said Michael O'Brien, of Artazan, the company managing the project.
''Yes, we think it will be the biggest brothel in the country once the extensions are completed. It's a mixture of clientele: suits, accountants, lawyers, as well as a lot of top-end celebrities such as movie stars, sports people and rock bands.''
A former consultant to the legal brothel industry, Chris Seage, said he had been in a lot of brothels but was unaware of a multi-bed trend.
''I've never seen two double beds,'' he said.
''It sounds like it's a facility for friends to go along in groups and book the room for a couple of hours, have a few drinks, play pool and do the deed.''

AUSTRALIA'S biggest brothel is likley to be built, despite 80 objections to the City of Sydney, provided the owners spend nearly $400,000 on improving the quality of the neighbourhood.
The council's planning committee will consider recommendations tonight from the director of planning, Graham Jahn, to support a $12 million proposal to double the size of the existing Stiletto brothel in Camperdown to 40 beds with 21 waiting rooms.
Mr Jahn said the council had received 80 submissions from residents which varied from arguing the area was already well served by brothels to claims the brothel had no access for people with disabilities.
In his report rebutting the objections, Mr Jahn said there was ''no approved sex premises venue within a 75-metre radius of the site'' and disabled people would be able to access the premises from the basement, which would have a lift.
Council officers also rejected objections that the Parramatta Road site near Sydney University was inappropriate because it was next to high-density residential, educational and medical establishments, and would be a safety risk to women, students and children; would be noisy and cause traffic congestion; and was an overdevelopment of the site and exceeded floor-space ratio rules.
On this last point, council officers agreed and suggested the applicants enter into a voluntary planning agreement with the council to compensate residents for the higher-than-allowed project density.
Under the proposal, the owner of the brothel, the big-time punter Eddie Hayson, would pay the council $391,930 for improvements to ''the public domain'', including footpaths, kerbs and construction of a pedestrian refuge within 800 metres of the brothel.
