Shoot, I can remember when the neighborhood kids made stormtrooper costumes out of used ice cream tubs. One fat kid in particular, stands out in my mind, because he used the king-sized, commercial tubs from the local Baskin-Robbins™. Bet he ate all the ice cream himself.

Still, that was what was considered cool in my day. Not that you paid more than a home mortgage payment to wear plastic and twill!

No way. Liz has done some elaborate costumes--she has been Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, three different drow elves, and Halisstra Melarn, the Lady Penitent). I think the most she spent weas about $100, for the Lady Penitent (which ended up much more complicated than she expected). She put together her first drow elf costume for about $70.

Just a thought: Why does Darth Vader wear a cape? I can't recall seeing him off board a ship or station; nor anywhere else out of doors that you'd need some weather protection. Nobody else seems that cold indoors. :shrug

...and if he's indoors all the time- how does his cape billow without any breeze? huh? :loon
