Well, not quite yet. I will be putting in the paperwork for my vacation Monday...said vacation being, per usual, the Hot Rod Power Tour next June. (June 2 to June 9, Mt. Clemens, Michigan to Arlington, Texas)
Is putting in for time off nine months in advance weird?

Nope. Good forward planning, and there is nothing like looking forward to something.

My wife has to put in for time off at least 9 months in advance.
Not unusual at all.

Well, the paperwork is in (I worked yesterday-Saturday-and put it in then), now it's just a matter of waiting (and waiting, and waiting).
The Tour will be a longer run next year...probably about 4500 miles total. Considering the last two stops are Stillwater, OK and Arlington, TX, I think the A/C in the bus will get another workout!

You're going to disturb the final resting place of those brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy today?
YOU BLOODY COMMUNIST!

Venues are:
6/2: GM Proving Grounds, Detroit (I suspect it's actually the Metro Beach Metropark, in Harrison Township.)
6/3: Downtown, Muskegon, MI
6/4: Champaign, IL (University of Illinois assembly hall)
6/5: Collinsville, IL (Gateway Motorsports Park)
6/6: Miami, OK (Buffalo Run Casino)
6/7: Stillwater, OK (Kicker Corporate Complex)
6/8: Arlington, TX (Cowboys Stadium)
6/9: Long Hauler ceremony, exact location TBA
The Long Hauler ceremony last year was amazing...that venue will be IMPOSSIBLE to top!

The GM proving Grounds are in Milford. Once the location is firmed up let me know perhaps we could meet up.

I know its in Milford...the LH ceremony last year was there, including a tour.

It will probably be at Metro Beach or Mt. Clemens.

Do you have parking for a 40' long, 11'6" high, 26,000lb vehicle?
