A companion thread of sorts.
Ideally I'd like a MacBook Air, but not sure I want to splurge quite that much this year.
I think I'll buy myself an electric fireplace w/mantel for my cottage - it will create the perfect atmosphere for reading, writing & scrapbooking this winter:
What about you?

Actually, what I'd really like for Santa to bring me is a Presidential candidate I can vote for without holding my nose....

Nothing. I am sick to death of things.
But I would like a cure for Type 1 diabetes. That would be nice, so I could stop worrying about my son and his future.
GAH!

Oh Sue, I'm sorry! At our office Christmas party my new colleague's scientist wife was discussing recent research into diabetes. It sounded very promising. I hope you see your wish come true very soon!

A car, and the income to be able to pay for insurance and gas on it.
No wait, a hybrid, and the income to be able to pay for charging the batteries, and the gas on it.
No wait, an electric car, and the income to be able to pay for solar panels big enough to charge it on.
No wait, a hydro-powered car, and the income to be able to pay for digging the well, or building the pipeline to the ocean to fuel it on.
Okay, I'll take a pony.

My two front teeth...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

A new stereo for Clint, the one he came with is hopeless.
I already got one present, a new iPhone 4s - much hilarity caused by swearing at Siri, he gets all offended by bad language.
Better learn to deal with it feller, I'm from Oldham swearing is in my genes!

Realistically or should I swing for the fences?
Realistically? money to pay down the mountainload of debt I incurred moving into a new house.
what I really want?
(in order of price least to most expensive)
1) a new R/C car with all required accessories.
2) a new computer to run 3)
3) software and license for NX
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.
