Safety Warning for Welders and other Wildlife

Post by loCAtek »

This was printed out and passed around the weld shop recently, in lue of holding a safety class that day. As per the boss's expectations, I saved it and pinned it to my board, but I'll let you read it, and see if you had the same reaction I did ...

Okay, that was bad, and at a certain level I appreciate Brew Dude sharing his experience ...but, do you as well as I, really wanna know:

WTF WAS WRONG WITH YOU, DUDE!!!!? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?????

You're shaking, shutting down and having seizures, but you didn't go to a hospital for over a week!?????
Did you have a death wish, or were you really that stoopid????

If the Lords of Karma hadn't been having a slow day, you'd be Rotten.com's decomposing corpse de jure, and we'd be lamenting your poor decision making skills, over your obituary, and a fresh latte.
Instead, we have to wonder, CSI-style: when did the brain damage occur- before or after the accident?
Which was really to blame- the phosgene, or the foolishness????

Tell me your License to Breed Card has been revoked, and you're under 24/7 hour restriction from sharp objects, and denied access to children, please? ...please!?

I don't wanna know you're what's considered a fully-functioning, adult member of civil society, without supervision or anti-psychotic medication. <groan>

.... and a mum thing .... "I'll be better soon - I haven't got time to muck around with doctors. I have too much to do and I haven't got anyone to look after the kids at the moment. It'll pass soon - I'll be over it by tomorrow ..."

.... and a kid thing .... "I won't tell mum how sick I just was. If I tell her, she might make me go to the doctors and then we'll have that boring wait and all that stupid mucking around with tests and stuff. Can't be bothered with all that. .... And she might not let me go to that party tonight or the concert next week."
Life is like photography. You use the negative to develop.

(just to save another edit thread) :ok
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

While I've always avoided ingesting fatally hazardous fumes ...sometimes I just can't help it.

Like on the bike commute home;

Passing a parked truck, with a passenger in the driver's seat, seemingly enjoying a smoke... none of my business, I couldn't care le...
*coff-coff-coff* <gasp> Gag-Choke!!!

WTF was that fog of impenetrable stench!?

Quick mental inventory of malodious oders- could only say this was chemical, caustic and worse than burning car carcass'.
