Meet Zeus, the world's tallest dog, as certified by the Guinness Book of World Records. How tall is Zeus? Zeus measures "44 in (111.8 cm) from foot to withers" (the withers is "the ridge between the shoulder blades of a four-legged mammal").

How much does Zeus weigh? Zeus weighs nearly 155 pounds and eats about one-fifth his body weight every day. Where does he live? He lives in Ostego, Mich., with the Doorlag family, whom he allows to believe are his owners. Where is Zeus from? The Outer Realms. What does Zeus do? Zeus talks to you inside your brain and tells you to do things. What does Zeus eat? Souls.

The Denver Post has a gallery of photos of Zeus, the funniest of which features the caption "Kevin Doorlag waits for his dog Zeus to come back into the house." Because when your dog is the size of a pony it gets to tell you when the walk is over.

Not on my lap. My dog (100lb black lab) is not allowed up on the couch nor on the beds. He does not jump up on people although his tail wagging has been known to take out a grown mans gonads.

My trailerhood is actually pretty cool- it's not a barren paved parking lot like many are; we actually have landscaped yards and gardens ...and a nice central lawn area where everyone takes their dogs for free play. (yes, poopy bags are provided!)

It's a very charming sight, watching the pooches play, pounce and socialize with the pack. While it's made up of dogs of all kinds, the undisputed Alpha Male is a small one-eyed pekingese, named Titan ...who really is quite a benevolent tyrant, once you get to know him. It's all a matter of letting him know who's boss; he is.


Titan may stand no higher than your shins, but it's how he stands: head held high, chest out and tail raised to full mast. I've seen him stand down Pitbulls with that posture; 'Princess' a lovely, purebred, white pittie, dropped to the ground and rolled before him, she was so awestruck by his awesomeness.

The missing eye was not a war wound from a fight, but from just playing too hard.

Yup, Titan confidently commands all to play with him, that's what kind of king he is!
