Actress Mila Kunis has gone topless for the cover of Esquire magazine after editors crowned her the sexiest woman alive.


The 29-year-old Black Swan actress, poses seductively in a pair of skintight trousers, with her back to the camera, for the men's publication's upcoming November issue, but she insists her public persona is much different from who she is in real life.

"What I do and who I am are two different things. And they always will be. What happens with people is they lose sight of who they are, and they become either who they want to be or who they are perceived to be," she said in an interview with the magazine.

"I think that if I bought into the hype (of fame), I would lose all sight of who I am, and so much of who I am is what my parents went through and instilled in me. And I never want to lose that. Ever. Because I would be so disappointed if I didn't make them proud."

Kunis, who is now dating her former That '70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher, preserves her modesty on the steamy Esquire cover by covering her bare breasts with her left arm.

Using a comparative adjective when discussing beauty or desirability is absurd. "Sexiest." "Prettier." Etc. EVERY person looking at that magazine cover will have a number of other females that, to them individually, are prettier, sexier, or otherwise more desirable than the one pictured.

Most women who are not deformed in some way can be beautiful and/or sexy, either subjectively or objectively, depending on how their appearance is presented. Most people have at least one feature that is beautiful and sometimes that's enough. I knew a girl in HS who was popular with the guys because she had the most perfect ass in the history of the world. She was otherwise very plain and uninteresting. And she (at the time) had no idea why she was popular.

The public sphere is filled with women who can be breathtakingly beautiful if their clothing, makeup, hair preparation, lighting, angles, etc., etc., etc., are all just right. Mariah Carey is a good example. She can look like a cow or stunning, depending...

But there is one unfortunate fact that bodes ill for about half of all American women. It is very difficult to be considered pretty or sexy if you are FAT. Woe to the girl about whom it is said, "She has such a pretty face!"
