Well, when you're overwrought with the excitement of footsies, here's a play-by-play that really captures the drama and intensity of the sport:

That's what sets Ibrahimovic apart. Most players wouldn't even have considered that as an option.
He beat England almost single-handedly! That was his fourth goal of the night BTW...

Of course they didn't. There's no chance of seeing an amazing piece of athleticism is a game you dislike now is there? :D

Quick! Take down the video before they decide to watch it... that'll learn them!

No, I meant like athleticism which transcends the ordinary, short sprints aren't really that impressive. :fu

Sorry Jim, you'll have to help me out with that one...

When you say "amazing atheliticism" (sic) were you referring when the guy hit the ball with a stick, when the guy ran around a diamond without falling over or when the guy caught the ball in a clown glove? I thought that those were basic parts of the game but I bow to your superior rounders knowledge... :D

An amazing kick. BTW, this evening I'm staying in a hotel with the Colombian national team, who just palyed Brazil to a 1-1 tie across the street. I didn't get to attend the game, but it looked like 60 or 70 thousand people did. The hotel lobby is a madhouse, with police holding the fans at bay outside.

Hey, I know that area and those hotels! We've had a Bruce pre-tailgate in several of them. I imagine the soccer fans are a bit less mellow .....

Well Sue, I'm speechless. . . big suite is it?

Hey Gob, as soon as I saw the subject line I just knew which Goal!!!!!!! it had to be. I turned the game off at half-time last night but saw the second half goals while standing in line at the ABSA bank this a.m. They have Supersport Blitz on a couple of TVs to keep the cattle customers pacified. I cannot imagine what Joe Hart thought he was doing (and he blued over the weekend for Man City against Spurs, only sadly not often enough) but Ibrahimovich took full and brilliant advantage.

Not having opened any attachments, I am guessing two soccer teams played to a tie. OR..........some team won by one real goal (not the overtime when they kick a ball at a few guys who cover their nuts with their hands).

I have tried to watch soccer. Even had season tickets to the Cosmos way back when Pele and She Messing played for them. Then had season tickets to the indoor soccer team (I forget their name) that played at the Nassau Colliseum. Indoor I liked, outdoor was much too slow and back and forth.
PS
I went to school with Shep Messings brother, Roy Messing. He and I were both pole vaulters on the track team. Roy went on to be a goalie for hte indoor team from Cincinatti (I think that was it) then got kicked in the eye which ended his career. We both were in the same grade/age but I haven't seen him in 25-something years.

"Propeller" kick? What kind of useless, nancy, dumb-a, ridiculous word is that to apply to what everyone in the entire universe (including species yet to be revealed) knows is actually a "bicycle" kick? Honestly!
