Transgender MMA

Shamelessly stolen from another forum.
There's a controversy in the world of MMA at the moment about transgender people competing. A transgender woman called Fallon Fox and started a pro career in women's divisions (and knocked out her first two opponents)
Sadly there's a lot of prejudice flying amongst the facts. Joe Rogan is the most out spoken critic of her and comes across very badly.

However, I'm inclined to agree with the idea the transgender people shouldn't be allowed to compete against people born women. I don't know the exact biology about the effects of hormones/treatments but it seems likely there's still a large advantage in having the original body of man, particularly for a combat sport.
I'd say if someone wants to be treated as woman, then I 100% support them in that....but when they then choose to compete in a sport which is essentially punching people in the face. It becomes a bit tricky.
