We'll see if he is serious or if this is just another attempt to raise the Vatican's margin on laundering crime money. The Vatican bank has been a private cash machine for Italian organized crime for 50 years and several generations of Popes and other higher level prelates have profited richly from the trade.

What a bizarre series of nonsensical "thoughts."
Banks do not "launder' money. Money laundering is taking illegally-obtained or earned money, and channeling it through a legitimate business, so that the "profits" appear to be legally obtained. Depositing money in a bank and then withdrawing it is not a form of money laundering.
It may be that the Vatican is not as diligent about ascertaining the source of deposited money as the best of commercial banks, but that hardly constitutes participation in money laundering.
How, exactly would one calculate the Vatican bank's margin on "mafia" deposits, as compared to deposits from other depositors? Does anyone really suppose that they charge higher fees for "dirty money" than "clean money"?
What exactly does it mean to be a "private cash machine"? Is the poster suggesting that mafioso's can withdraw money that they did not deposit? Do tell.
