I take it you're not aware of People like John Wycliffe and Jan Hus.

PS the "protestant reformation" began in 1517. Columbus had nothing to do with it.

Who ever said Columbus had anything to do with anything? The Spanish Inquisition began in 1492, principally against Jews and Moslems, as I said. It began then because that was the year when the "reconquista" was complete. Columbus also sailed that year but I did not mention it because it was not relevant.
