So would a test pattern.

Some may find this strange, but if I were to go religious I'd go catholic. May as well go the whole hog, with the ritual, ceremony and pomp.

What orthodox to foreign for ya?
Okay... There's all kinds of things wrong with what you just said.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

yeah, I m no one to judge a church, and I am not in a position to make an educated criticism of the modern Catholic Church....
but the pomp and ceremony (and fancy vestments) were part what jesus had a problem with, from what I read anyway
this pope seems well aware of that tho..., which I think is a good thing

I am sick and bedridden and my computer is in for repairs so I have been watching too much TV. The Pope interrupted The Price is Right. I missed out on how much the thingamajig was and who won what. Trump never does that.

Me too - my liberal university (joy camp) education was entirely successful, it appears!

It seemed to peg me as 7th Day Adventist. I'm not sure who should be most alarmed - them or me.
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts
Re: PopeFest 2015: Philadelphia Security Zone Map
It listed me as Eastern Orthodox even though in the score breakdown, I had an identical score for Roman Catholic...

At least go episcopal, so you can live with yourself. All of the ritual and none of the guilt!Gob wrote:Some may find this strange, but if I were to go religious I'd go catholic. May as well go the whole hog, with the ritual, ceremony and pomp.
Not surprisingly, I got Unitarian Universalist, followed by Liberal Quaker and Mahayan Buddist. Roman Catholic was last on my list. All consistent with my own beliefs that I jokingly call "episcopagan," and my yoga studies. I've even looked in to switching to the UU church and attended some services - there are several good ones around me.

People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

I'm not following the Poopfest, LJ. I've no interest in what some crazy foreigner in a funny hat has to say.

Unitarian Universalist; not too much of a surprise.

Forgive me the uncharitable joke:
What's the difference between a Universal Unitatian and a Nihilist?
The one pretends to believe in something the other pretends to believe in nothing.

Burning question marks--gotta love it.
