The Muslim population in Britain has grown by more than 500,000 to 2.4 million in just four years, according to official research collated for The Times.

Ten times more suggests the population of Muslims is now 30% or more and that the UK is being an Islamic society.
No it doesn't. It would only suggest that if the population of the UK remained static between 2001 and 2009.
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

It shouldn't take much arithmetic to figure out that 2.4 million is more like 4% of the population of the UK, and nowhere close to 30%

Ok I suck at stats. I was thinking that ten times 3 percent would be 30 percent. I'll reopen the link later and see if the figure is there.

I am actually really surprised the UK houses something like 40% atheists. I would have guessed most people would class themselves lapsed christians, after childhood indoctrination.
