Which is why I asked for the quantifiers, stoat. If it's not all, then why is religion treated as if it is? What is the extent of the religious motivation, exactly?

I request the answer in numbers, not adjectives nor adverbs pls.

I am not daft enough to go hunting for meaningless numbers to feed your horseshit Lo.
My position was made very clear. There have been wars which were motivated by religion.

Do you dispute this?

I also couldn't give a shit how many wars were religiously motivated as one is too many...

You want numbers? Go find them!

Please provide any evidence that anyone has said that religion causes ALL wars.

Real quickly here, I'm off to work...

Dawkins claims that religion causes violence, conflict and war. I had to wonder, was Dawkins not a biologist? He didn't have to be a behaviorist to know that Man's ancestors and closest cousins the apes, also have war. It's well documented
http://news.discovery.com/animals/chimp ... avior.html

What there is not documentation for is ape's having any religion.

Obviously, violence and war have biological roots, not religious ones.

Dawkins has NEVER said that religion is the sole cause of war.

Imbecile!

I see Sean has pointed out the obvious flaw in your argument.

Can you see what it is yet?

Lo - before making stupid claims at least TRY to research this. As Sean says - Dawkins has NEVER said anything of the sort. Go on - Prove me wrong. Otherwise what you have just posted is a blatant lie.

Careful Stoat... given her track record she'll demand that you prove she's telling the truth now!

Well I think she won't admin to being wrong. I guess her comments prove there must be a parallel universe though

Very well, don't believe me, but google this-
'Religion causes wars by generating certainty.'

-Richard Dawkins.

Also fascinating to discover in my research is that the entirety of Prof. Dawkins' personal religious experiences are: in his own words; in the Church of England, one of the most dogmatic man-made religions, while but a youth from the age of 8 to the age 15.

...and that was it. That was all the scientific study Prof. Dawkins put into theology; while he claims no knowledge of Eastern philosophy nor spirituality at all.

In his own words here; http://www.fixed-point.org/index.php/vi ... nox-debate

He also claims to be shocked by the 'differences' of religions.

A couple of things arising from that post...

"Religion causes wars"
"Religion causes all wars"

Can you spot the difference?

Secondly, can you name a religion that is not man-made?
I'll wait...

Such a quick reply, you didn't watch the video, did you?

To answer your questions yes and yes, but pls watch Prof,. Dawkins admit that he only knows a child's version of dogmatic C of E.

As Dr. Lennox, his debate opponent, says in the video [later] "Science can not answer the elementary questions, 'Who am I?" and 'Where am I going?'"

Of course, Dawkins doesn't say anything remotely resembling what you claim he has said. He NEVER said that his study of religion was confined to the time he was a member of the Anglican Church. He NEVER claims that he has no knowledge of Eastern philosophies/religions.

You are hearing what the bottle you are taking swigs from is telling you, not what was actually said.

And that justifies your repeated distortions of Dawkins's words in the throes of your drunken stupors how, exactly?
